Shawbo Palani-Jafi is part of ADVODAN Thisted’s private law division, which provides counsel to private individuals. Shawbo graduated from Aarhus University in 2013 with a master’s degree in law (LL.M.). After graduating, Shawbo worked for the Danish Immigration Service until 2017, when she began working for ADVODAN Thisted.
Flair for personal injury damages
During her post-graduate studies, Shawbo worked at a law-firm, where she handled damages- and insurance cases. She therefore already has experience working with personal injury, - industrial injury – and patient injury benefits.
Shawbo has previously worked as jurist for the Danish Immigration Service and as legal advisor for a legal aid office in Aarhus, where she handled immigration law cases. This experience has supplied Shawbo with great insight into the legal texts and practices in relation to immigration law.
Shawbo is very ambitious and she is eager to learn. Shawbo is motivated by the prospect of having direct contact with clients and gaining commercial insight and perspective through her job as associate.
Passionate about family
Shawbo was born in a refugee camp in Al-Tash, Iraq. She came to Denmark in 1996 with her family, and she now resides in the northern Jutland area. When Shawbo is not reading legal texts, she reads for pleasure or spends time with her family, and she also enjoys a long run in the open landscapes of northern Jutland.
